DETAILS:- A new Davis VP2 weather station with added Solar/UV sensors and 24-hour aspirated radiation shield was installed on 8th September 2007. This replaced the Oregon Scientific WMR928N that served me well for three and a half years! The anemometer is on a higher pole than the old WMR928N was, so windspeed should be measured more accurately now. Rain is now measured in 0.2mm increments rather than 1mm before. Web pages/images are updated every 10 minutes - some data is updated daily. The LIVE page has data uploaded every 10 seconds for an almost real time update on the current weather readings.
