Steve Waterfield
PEN PORTRAIT:
Steve started off singing in his local church choir and then went on to sing in
musical groups at school and sixth form; singing numbers from musicals such as
"Five Guys Named Mo" and stand alone big band numbers such as "Patricia the
Stripper". He moved to Bristol to go to university (UWE) and played chorus parts
in "Calamity Jane" and "Carousel". Steve was also lucky enough to play the part
of Barnaby Tucker in the UWE production of "Hello Dolly" at the Old Vic and he
was one of the Apostles in UWE's "Godspell" production. After leaving university
he played the part of Romeo in a brand new musical based upon the music of Thin
Lizzy - "The Vagabond of the Western World". His next role was as the Apostle
Thadius in BLOC's production of "Jesus Christ Superstar" at the Hippodrome.
Steve took a year off to get married and to get his job sorted and then joined
us.
