PEN PORTRAIT:Matt joined the Ecumaniacs in 1999 after a recommendation from a works colleague who had been doing sound with an Am-Dram group. Matthew was very quickly "snapped up" to work backstage due to his technical experience. He is an electronics engineer by day! He met his partner Emma when he joined us for Treasure Island in 2000. He has regularly supported us backstage and with lighting, but in 2004/5 he took on the huge task of updating and improving the electrics on and around the stage for our productions at Christ Church hall. Matt has a keen interest in chemistry and in his "other" spare time is doing construction and renovation to his own house. In his leisure time he enjoys caving.
