PEN PORTRAIT:Emma has been involved with entertainment since she could walk. She started as a child singing, and then acting followed. She gained only one of 20 places at HTV Junior Drama when she was 12 years old. There she did theatre and TV roles until "retiring" from the group at 17 years old. Whilst doing A-levels and going through university she did bits and pieces (a TV advert for a bank; played a teenage mum in TV series "Against All Odds"; got nominated for a Rose Bowl award whilst with the Whitchurch Players, and joined us in 2000 after meeting her partner Matthew who is our lighting man. Emma has enjoyed all the parts she has performed in our pantomimes, but found she was happiest when supporting others, therefore she really enjoyed directing our 2006 production of Cinderella. Emma returned to the stage in 2007 and has been Chairperson of our committee.
