PEN PORTRAIT:It was all my dad's fault! Both my dad, Malcolm, and I joined the Ecumaniacs far too many years ago to remember! My first role was as one of the genies in Aladdin back in 1980, I even remember one of my lines, "I'm Genie, fly me!". Various parts in producitons followed, Robin Hood in Babes In The Wood, a fairy in Sleeping Beauty, the princess in Puss In Boots and a large number of chorus parts, one of which involved a dance in a bikini (in my younger days). I then moved to the backstage crew, harder work but much more fun. My children took part in Snow White so I bet in years to come they will blame their mother and say, "it was all my mum's fault!"
